Time Stop

Are there any characters in the games which are immune 2 time stop, or is there an item which mmakes them???
Further more, is Sola immune to Time Stop. I heard that he is, but later someone told me he is only in certain conditions; pls Help!

IIRC Solaufein is NOT immune to Time Stop but he has the Drow's natural Magic Resistance, and that gives him a chance against Time Stop. Or something like that. There are characters that ARE immune to Time Stop IIRC, but alas; I don't know who they are.

There are a few characters and creatures in the game who are immune to Time Stop, but none of them can join you (excluding Mods). There's also no item which grants immunity to Time Stop.

Solaufein is also not immune to Time Stop, nor will his Magic Resistance help him (as Time Stop ignores MR). He does, however, gets Time Stop immunity for just one specific battle. You won't see it unless you have him in the party, though.

I find it odd that Spell Immunity wont help against Time Stop since it is just a lvl 9 spell and only belongs to one school.

And there isn't there any mod which adds time-stop immune characters??

Spell Immunity protects against spells more or less targeted at you ...
Time-stop however .. targets time. So unless you convince time to cst spell-immunity, you'd better buff up [img]smile.gif[/img]

Ah, but the spell at the same time grants a specific target the ability to act even when Time's frozen. There should IMHO be a way for other people to simulate that ability.

There is. IIRC, It requires the cooperation of a deity. Something not easily gained. That method isnt available in BG2 though.

With the ascension mod installed, the PC can gain timestop immunity, but only during the final fight. It is of course insanely powerful. Which is why its not available for the majority of the game.

Imagine if any tank could become timestop immune. 3 rounds of every attack automaticaly hitting? COmbine with GWW and you start to see some scary numbers.

Now, only imagine what would it be like if there was a weapon that can emulate that effect.
