Felix I got out of the Army in 1987, have a German Wife 2 kids and a German Business Degree. I go on trips almost every week and have seen most of Europe

I have been here since 1985 and have seen all the ups and downs.

And trust me Grafenwöhr is about to be one of the only US Army bases left over here and maybe its a horrible place to be in the field at but a great place to be stationed at and or live.

Oh and I am quessing you live somewhere close to me

Come to the Parkcafe in Graf and drink a beer with me sometime. We can trade "war storys"

And I was talking about a GERMAN buying a BMW not a Military member, maybe that is where we are getting confused.

Well then we both know Germany is not that big, so yes I'm close.

Twice a year for gunnery is more than double the amount of time that I'm happy to be in Graf.

For a German to buy BMW, I guess that would make a difference, since we get the tax break.

I've been released from this darn stop loss/move crapola and will PCS in Nov. Therefore I will not goto the next gunnery, and maybe I can say I already did my "Last Graf"!

Or perhaps he was using a 1943 map?

Wurm, I don't usually point out spelling or gramatical errors in posts but you have pressed one of my buttons!!

This is worming it's way into the English language, in fifty years time we'll all be using this construction. Until then I'll sit and stew and marvel at the fact that English is a living language and American English is a language living in the fast lane!
We went to Creta Greece for "Gunnery" (A 3/60 ADA HAWK Missle Battery), so like I said before being stationed in Graf had its advantages

Have fun in the states!
Donut,

You are just going to have to excuse me, highschool was 20 years ago, and I no longer speak english on a daily basis. I just don't see what you are talking about.
