How else to lower Kensai's AC?

My kensai has an AC of 2 currently. Here's how he did it:
DEX 18
CON 18
STR 18/77
Cloak of Protection +1
Ring of Earth Elemental (grants +1 AC bonus)
Shield amulet (not applicable, unless activated, I suppose)
A pale green stone that is placed in the helm slot (+1 AC bonus)
Proficient in 2-weapon style, and single weapon style.

How can I lower his AC further? Compared to Minsc (AC -3) and Jaheira (AC -6!!) my kensai's AC is not really that great. As he's my tank, I'd like to see his AC at least 0, if not lower. Is this possible?

Is this purchased from a merchant (if so, where), or a quest item, or a 'spoil of war'?

Use the shield amulet all the time; with Kensai AC bonus, Dex bonus, and other magic items, you can get a Kensai down to -6. You'll find a couple more items that will lower your AC a few points.

Oh, you can sell the amulet and buy it again, and it will be recharged too; don't worry about using up charges.

Bladesinger sounds nice, BUT KENSAI CANNOT wear armor....so you will have to use the Ring of Gaxx (1 good, 2 better), and you can wear additional magical ring even if you are wearing a Ring of Gaxx. You can also equip him with only one weapon to take advantage of your proficiency in 1-weapon style. There is Cloak of Protection +2 and other magical cloaks.

Yes your Kensai will have higher AC compared to others, because he is a offensive fighter not a defensive one.
In regular fighting, your kensai shouldn't have a huge problem with his AC, if you have mages or such with you a simple barkskin or other spells help him.
A Kensai Isn't a tank, he is a swordsman. A fighter in full magical platemail and shield with -10 AC is a tank, a Kensai with 0 AC isn't a tank.
Something that will work wonders for your Kensai. Potions of defense and invulnerability. They set his AC to 0, so yours will drop to about -8 or so when you use one, perfect for a large combat.
You won't have alot of problems with a Kensai GO ON THE OFFENSE! Let your fighters with the lower AC hit the enemy first, have your Kensai right behind them, that way the lower AC fighters get hit first, then your kensai jumps in.

I found that my kensia was killing so fast that there was no need to have AC and most the time i was using haste and improved invisibilty so that also really helps a ton

Ring of Gaxx, Ring of Protection +2 and Cloak of Protection +2 should push you down. But getting to -2 or thereabouts is a pretty mean feat for a pure kensai.

This is cheating in a way:
The robe of Apprenti can be worn by ALL!!!!!
It gives base AC3.
-4Dex, -1Gaxx, -1Ring+2, -1Cloak+2, _1Stone
gives -6

I also found that one of the Katana's lowers your AC by one I think? Dak'kon's Zerth Blade, is the one, however it's only available in the collectors edition(or one of the downloads).
