I want to back this up. Wyndham is a fascinating writer, both of those books are must reads, although I would start with Day of the Triffids, since IMO it is the best. But be sure to check them out.

Which book in the Troy game are you up to Book 1 or Book 2. I have read both book 1 and two and am eagerly waiting for book 3. Looks to be really good!

one thing I love about her books ( The Crucible and The Troy game) is that she has taken real life figures from history and given this a fanstasy twist.

Since I studied Modern and Ancient History I makes it even eaiser for me to read the books because of it.

Alrighty, thanks for all advice. Appreciate them. Both Sara Douglass and John Wyndham are now on my wish list.
