Stuck at very beginning - SOU

SOU Help please:

Can't get the 3 ingredients to save what's-his-face. Found the one ingredient in the tavern, but I can't find the other two. I read the alchemist is supposed to give them over, but I can't find any dialogue options for it.

Hmm.. don't know. I can think of two possible solutions. First check your journal to see if the quest is in there. If not that, then maybe you're speaking to the wrong person.

If you give me a minute, I can load up a new game and find out what the dialogue should be.

edited: Ok, this is how the conversation should lead.
At the very start of the conversation, Farghan (the herbalist) will say, right after greeting you and noting on the recent kobold ambush:

Farghan: ... "I hope that Master Drogan's well, also?"
You: "That's actually why I'm here. He's been poisoned."
Farghan: "Of course I'll help if I can. What is it I can do?"
You: "I need some herbs. Tressym tongue, charcoal and helmthorn berries."

At which point he'll hand over the other two ingredients.

Definately a glitch in my machine. Time to back up and reload. It won't work no matter what I do.

I've played through SoU 3 times now, and I've never even come accross that particular quest. I always head off to grab the artifacts and when I bring the last one back, he's magically healed. Interesting, I'll have to check that out.

i cant remember that as well actually. he was just healed when i set off to get the artifacts.

If you ask how Drogan's doing, then if there's any way you can help, she'll mention the herbs.

I'm not absolutely positive on the total xp rewarded, but you get a hefty 300 for bringing all three herbs.
