Well, what for exactly is "Lich's key" and what is "Ring from Gezzard'ra", which you can get after completing Adrianna's quest?
I've looked the whole forum but didn't find an answer! Also I didn't find the lock, which can be opened by Lich's key. What for is it really? The only lock I have found unopened is a door with color glasses in Lich's library, but this lock didn't need any key, it must be opened by hands or lock picks HELP, PLEASE! |

I believe the Lich Key you can get opens the level 12 lock on the room with the stained glass windows. As you say, so what,you can pick this with an adequate thief and a level 5 lockpick. The ring is the Ring of Vampires - only equip this if you have installed the patch - this used to lock the game when equipped. It is a nice ring with 3 x 100% resistances and a regen facility. It looks like it prevents the normal HP drain suffered if you let one of your characters become a vampire.

But again, there is no answer on the question - what for is lich's key? No matter, seems I have no choices - I do not need key, I do not need a ring... or... may be vampire with this ring is not a bad idea? ) |

The lich key opens up a treasure vault in the lower areas of the Castle - down where all those lever, lifts and water were. Seems to me that I managed to get into that treasure room before returning to see Adrianna and getting the key from her, but I may be mistaken.
