I love listening to people talk about how it hit 80 degrees and thinking it is hot. Come here where it has been breaking 90 pretty much for the past two weeks (and we already broke 100 once this year). And it's been even hotter around New Mexico and Arizona. And to top it off, my AC is starting to give out...

Mack and Cloudy, you sure you don't want me to come up and help out on your project? At least maintenance would be easy at that point (well, unless you don't want weeds; I seem to kill all of the good plants, but can never seem to get rid of weeds...).

Psh, come to SoCal when the inland reaches 110! It does that at least once or twice a summer!

Woo, I had too much expensive wine tonight! Whats it called...Rose' of Merlot from Rutherford Hills. Good stuff! Big bottle between just my mother and I ^-^

Err...that's ok, I think I'll let my hubby help with weeding the flower beds...he's not too bad at that and mulching..now if I could only convince him to mulch AFTER I get the annuals in the ground! It's alot harder trying to plant around the mulch! LOL

Eef, I believe you on the heat, Nerull! My parents live in AZ near Phoenix and the spend summers elswhere! The weather maps usually show it in the 100's there this time of year!

It's national day in Iceland, like the 4th of july...but without the fireworks. Also the first time in 4 years that it isn't raining on this day.
60 years of independence for 280000 people, thats pretty impressive eh?

So what are you doing for your Natonal day?

For Canada day I am going to go to drumheller. I have never been to the tyrrell museum. And Sydney is at the age where I think she would get a kick out of it. Anytime she sees a dinasour she makes a big growl.
