IwD items in SoA

Has anybody installed the SoA first release additional item packs? And why use the items from Icewind Dale in SoA? Just very addicted to your IwD party and their equipment?

Shadowkeeper should be able to import the SoA items? Dalekeeper works just the same. Er, don't kill me from bringing these two cheaters up. But if so, I would try using some ToB or SoA items in IwD and see if that works. And see the look on those surprised party members' faces. And backstab them with weapons they've never seen and let them feel so much pain. Shit, gotta have a reason for that. Being chaotic evil will do, I suppose.

Why use some of the items from Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale? Personal preference I suppose. Plus some of them are cool.

Like the sling of everard (+5, needs no bullets).
Shield of Balduran (useful against only one particular type on monster).
