Funny penguin story!

Sometime earlier this year, there was a story about British fighter planes patrolling around the Falkland islands. The penguin colonies that live on those islands are so mesmorized by jets that they'll stop whatever they're doing and watch. Well, the pilots have fun with this by first passing near the penguins to get their attention and then by circling around again and flying directly overhead of the penguins. The penguins are so entranced that they'll actually plop over backwards while looking up at the planes which results in hundreds of penguins falling over in succession like dominoes. The pilots call it "penguin bowling."

lol

Now why do people constantly have negative things to say about Bond movies? Why when Sean Connery, Roger Moore, and OMG *heart pounds, trouble breathing* Pierce Brosnan have molded what a true gentleman should be like for eternity? Now on a more "realistic movie level". If I wanted real life I wouldn't watch tv or go to movies, I would do laundry and wash dishes, lol. From my experience, one doesn't put one down unless they have secret desire to be like the one they are putting down. If Bond movies weren't any good and so boring, then they wouldn't have continued making them and being one of the most popular series of movies of all times. Now, you wouldn't have gotten me started on why Bond movies and those wonderful Bond men and beautiful Bond women are truly extraordinary if you wouldn't have said negative things about Bond. I mean, I certainly, don't like Enimen or however his name is spelled and his new movie, 8 Miles or whatever, but hey who am I to begrudge him success. So, I am not going to watch it, but there are certainly fans of his that love the movie, so be it to them that freedom of choice. So beside the fact that Pierce Brosnan would be my choice of a next husband if anything ever happened to Azred *crosses fingers and hopes nothing ever does, loves Azred very, very much*, and I could steal him away from his wife and several kids *yeah right*, the freedom of choice is a wonderful thing, and I for one love Bond movies and will forever! So says Belle, Azred's girl, hear my wrath!

Belle, I guess my only question would be... do you like James Bond?

I only ask because I'm detecting a little reluctance to commit on the issue one way or the other...

I hadn't seen a Bond movie until me and Azred got together and I saw Pierce for the first time in Golden Eye. OMG, he is one handesome man. Perfection in one handy little package, or not so little by the reaction of the Bond women, lol. Not that I don't already live with a package of perfection, from head to toe already, but when I am old and grey, I will have only one wish, Pierce Brosnan's autograph. I love Bond, James Bond and I love the plots of the movies, and I love his cunning little lines and all the flirting that goes on in the movies, did I say I love everything about Bond movies? Sorry to be so serious in my previous post, really didn;t mean to. We recently have been watching the bond movies on TNN. Sean Connery and Roger Moore are my favorites also. I love all of the bond movies, except On Her Majestry's Secret Service, couldn't quite understand it and didn't like the guy they picked out for Bond. Just didn't have that Bond quality. But the main question, do I like Bond, heck yes, but I still love Azred more!

Hey there Belle, I too like Bond, and have been watching the Bond-a-thon on TNN this weekend. The newest one in the theatre though was a bit of a let down I thouhgt. Not because Pierce was anythihng but perfect, but because of some of the CGI stuff. I have always thought that Brosnan was the logical Bond, or at least since Remmington Steele

Well, I do have to agree with the affects in Die Another Day. Some of them were over the top, but then Pierce Brosnan would come in the picture again, and wow, I wouldn't even be thinking about the effects, except the ones he was having on me, lol. I was glad to hear that not only I thinks that Bond movies and Pierce and Sean are the perfect packages of the world.

BTW, cloudy, I am not too sure about the exact rules of the cafe, if I happened to break any of them by my serious post and rather ranting one, then I am sorry. I have seen how other people purposely do it, but if I broke any rules, I didn't mean to. I guess I should visit here more, that's what Azred tells me anyway, lol.
Peace and Pierce Forever (lol)
