I haven't installed BG2 yet so I can't read the manual, so before I uninstall BG1, a little help please? (If you think I can still find my BG2 manual in book form your crazy)
Anywho... I recently beat Baldur's Gate 1, added the Tales of the Sword Coast addon, loaded a save from slightly earlier on, beat Durlag's Tower, am outside of Ulgoth's Beard with my nice powerful party (in multiplayer) and I'm wondering what I need for when I convert to BG2? My thought is that if I have all my characters exported and my party saved in a save slot, one of those two will work for when i start a new game in BG2. OR, I might need to kill Saverok again, it's just when I load the game right before the Saverok thing I get teleported to Ulgoth's Beard. I'm pretty sure I know how to get around that but it still annoying if I'm forced to do that. Anywho, to keep myself from gabbering on, what does one need to convert to BG2 with their super spiffy party? |

copy your character files into BG2´s character directory. that is:
...\BG\ characters\*.chr --> ...\BG2\ characters\*.chr |
