I'm an innie; I was a zazerian baby, I wasn't born naturally ...maybe that's why i was always a quiet baby

Innie... like everyone in my house.
I find it interesting that when a woman is pregnant, the ol' navel starts to turn into an outie when the youngster is due. Kind of like one of those pop-up timers on a turkey... *boing* it's done! Come and get it!

I'm an innie, though I like to call mine a cave as I can stick a quarter of my pinky down it

And I do beleive it has nothing to do with how one cuts the cord. When I cut Sydney's cord I cut it about a 1.5 " out from the base and she still has a outie. I am sure the doctor told me why it is like that but I have to think more about. And I am a outie. I had a hernia(sp) as a kid.

mine is a innie but to answer the question, it is more to do with genatics than anything, I think, not sure, but I have known a few outies that had the same doctor I had when being born, so I doubt it is the way it is cut, my parents strated scaring me after Skyler was born, hers was sticking out really bad, and they started telling me it would become a hernia if it stayed out like that, soon found out that it was just a folk lore, but sheesh, the things people will think about when drunk I would drink, but have to go to doctor tomorrow, to get fit for hearing aids I will be able to hear again...YAY!
