Is Bryce 5 any good? What can you do with it besides 3D landscaping? Can you make a 3D model of a person and stuff like that?

Thanx

Your best bet for 3d models of peeps would be with Poser, Bryce is good but you have to know what you are doing.

Bryce is one of my favorite rendering engines. Bryce does a good job of rendering reflective objects with artificial lights. Poser won't render anything reflective, so using poser and bryce together works very well.

Yes it is. I've seen some of the movies people do with Bryce 3, and they are awesome! Bryce 5 has to be better. It's true that you won't get much done if you don't know what you're doing, but it's easy to learn.

They're both pretty good but i prefer using bryce because I feel that poser is too limited...

But can you still make models of people and objects using Bryce? Go here and look at some of the images which were made using Bryce. What I''m trying to say is that how come the people who have made those pics have been able to make people (models)? I thought you couldn't..or someone told me otherwise. For another example go here
