I need some clarification on this term. I went to register at Treknation and they said that my login name had to be alphanumeric. What does this mean? The name I chose was not accepted. Thanks.

Probably that only letters and numerals are accepted (IE, no _'s, !'s or <'s)

A combination of stardard alphabetic and numeric characters
[a..z][A..Z][0..9] It dosent have to include numbers or letters though, abcdefg is fine, as is 98765. But it cant include any other symbols no dahses, commas, or even spaces. Just letters and numbers.
