I was flipping through the channels earlier this evening, and came across the free on-demand stations on our cable. I was flipping through the Cartoon Network ones, and came across Hong Kong Phooey on there. I used to love that as a child, so I decided to watch the one they had out there.

Wow, I must have really gotten jaded as I've gotten older, because I was thinking to myself "this is really dumb". I still like to watch cartoons (I watch Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, etc. when I catch them on). However, it was not until I watched that one cartoon today that I realized just how much my viewpoint has changed.

Has anyone else watched something that you used to watch as a child and just be like "what was I thinking"? Just curious...

When I was young I remember thinking "The Tick" was the best cartoon ever made or ever likely to be made...

now that I'm an old fart I think... wait... I still think that.

nevermind.

LOLOL!! I remember that series! So cheesy! It's still good to watch for a laugh though...

I used to love the Pokemon TV series...maybe 2 or 3 years ago...yes, I am ashamed, and yes, I do think "wtf? I liked this stuff?"

Forgive me.
