Revered brother lockup - spoiler

When I fight revered brother whats his name after going up the stairs that are unlocked with the 6 badges, I beat him up and then he transports us to Easthaven but once in Easthaven, I'm still in movie mode and can't get out. I've already run the 1.06 patch, any ideas?

Don't mean to ride your coat-tails, but same problem here. I've tried with both full install using a phantom CD program and minimal install on HD using the 2nd CD in the reader. Whether I watch the full movie or stop it asap i get locked up in the exact same spot. Not sure about the original submitter or if it even matters, but I am using the cheat mode on this section (I hate losing the 1st time in anything) on the 1.06 patch. I'm sure we'll both appreciate any help the more experienced players can offer with this problem. Thnx.

Had this happen to me once, and it happened to my friend at the final battle.

I've seen lots of things to get rid of it. Two I can remember is to empty the contents of your "override" directory (just move the files someplace else till after the battle). This method solved the problem for me. I also remember seeing someone post that they got past it by not using any sort of magic, but I'm not sure if that included magical items also.

Kanhar, u are the MAN! The trick with relocating the override folder worked to perfection. My mouse, keyboard, blood pressure and sanity thanks you.
