Antryg we could make it more cheaper than limiting space. Hormones are injected to further growth. I´m sure you have heard of broilers. Those poor things can´t walk since their induced overweight. Now I associate the word chicken with a adorable yellow fluffy little being, not a monster who can´t walk. Somewhere the line has to be drawn.

Of course the above paragraph is not about mental health. IMO measurements should be taken on physical stats (mortality, sickness etc.). A high incidence of a disease points out that something is wrong. Let´s face it, we are breeding them for food. (Ehh that sounds terrible as well. Hey, I´m on a roll. LOL)

Edit: I wanted a snazzy font color as well.

Yep, that's what I thought too. AFAIK it's correct the way you said it.

Fishing again my friend?

Why would the world be "think"ing that you are targetting the EU I wonder? At risk of overstating the obvious, your posts on the "intelligent life on earth" were derinding the people themselves for being stupid - not the country or in this case the EU. This post could have done the same by having a title like "Stupidity - you find it everywhere". Still - without the extra swipe, the bait wouldn't have attracted so many fish now would it .

Willow, I agree with you about the injections, hormones or ortherwise. I've seen farms (Tyson) which, at that time, used those forced growth methods and I didn't find it a pretty sight. If you were ever behind a truck loaded with chickens it would probably make you sick.

The next step I guess would be to bring up Kobi beef and how we make veal.

Then we can address the issue of what our food sources should be and acceptable population levels.

Why, Willow, Your font color has bled all over your post. I am complimented. So as not to be accused of spamming, I will ask what the EU policy on foie gras and real veal?

[/QUOTE]Again my apologies for the mistake, the website looks official and seems to be listing Serbia as a Candidate state, I think the misunderstanding is understandable.

Just out of curiosity, not that I don't believe you all, but does anyone have a link to the official list of candidate states?

Here's a list from the European Union's US website.

The prospective nations are Hungary, Bulgaria, Latvia, Romania, Cyprus, Lithuania, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Malta, Slovenia, Estonia, Poland, and Turkey.
