Have you run a virus scan lately? I think Avast is the best. You can get it free, Here
It might be an issue with spyware. Spyware is what you get on your computer that tracks your browsing behaviors online and reports them back to bad people who will tell your neighbors that you surf animal porn sites. Try Ad-aware Finally, have you defragged your system lately? What OS are you running? hehe [img]smile.gif[/img]

Your webmail provider upgrading your storage allowance from 250 MB to 1 GB is a good thing.
Your hard disk going from 250MB free to 1 GB free without you doing anything is a bad thing.

Spyware issue. Happend me once until I fixed it with scanners. Got scared there for a while though.
