The main problem with the puzzles was, that once you'd figured out how they worked, solving them all turns boring very fast. It may require some thinking to think of a way to solve them, it requires a lot more mindless moving around and hack 'n slash to actually solve them. Especially the one with the gems in the Jackall dungeon, probably the biggest anticlimax I've ever experienced in a Infinity Engine-game.

There are some programs that will let you do smart downloads - i.e. resume where the download interrupts. The OLD Black Forums should have details on them. For files that size, I just download and work and burn a cd there.

The alternative is to have someone local download the TOLM expansion for you, and burn you a cd of the file and mail it to you. Actually fileplanet will burn a cd for you of a BUNCH of files and send it to you, but they charge for that.

Download Accelerator Plus is pretty good for this sort of thing.

It allows you to pause downloads, looks for alternate download locations and lets you resume downloads after being cut off.

Nice eh

Actually, I believe Download Accelerator caused some problems when downloading TDD, IIRC... There were several persons I recall who got a damaged file in the end because they used DA. But that's all more than a year ago, so perhaps there's a better and newer version out there now.

I use Download Accelerator Plus.

It's very good, but the reason it got uninstalled was that it messed up downloads from one particular site that we used a lot!

EDIT - THE SIMS RESOURCE was the site I think!
