I'm really sorry to hear about Tom.
May the forces of nature and all life surrounding us bless him with the power to recover, physically and mentally.

You have them. Tom and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow, Nathan, you and Tom certainly have Galadria's and my prayers. What is unreal is that Galadria's mom talked incessantly about "going home" right before she passed on, so maybe they really are talking about their long home. I wish we knew more about it. Best wishes, Bill and Laurie.

You and your family are in my thoughts. I hope you are able to find help out there for your brother, and maybe some counceling (sp?) too, as it sounds like he could use it to deal with your grandfather's death. Please keep us updated if you're comfortable with doing so.

Morgie, I started to post yesterday but got called away. I sincerely hope that you can get your brother to stay OFF the drugs and get some help from a clinic. There are low or no cost ways to find that help out there. Maybe you could call some friends or local pastors who might have some recommendations for where to go or what you might do to help him.
I'm so sorry to hear that things are bad for your family now. It's hard enough losing your loved one, but worse to have another in this situation on top of the loss. My prayers are with you.

MY thoughts and prayers go with you. As others have said, there are counseling and other options available to folks with little money available. Check for a social services organization in your area. While they may not be an option, they will be able to point you (or him) in the right direction.
Peace. *B* |

I'd like to say thank you to everyone who posted, I plan to print this off and (snail)mail it to Tom, I hope knowing that so many people care about him will help him out. I'll post updates on his situation as I find things out.
