Sounds like an interesting game. Do you need to play the first one to be able to run the second one?

Nope. It is a sequel not an expansion. But if you liked the first one, you will definately enjoy this one. I think this game can be categorized as (realtime)tactical squad game but the focus is on stealth rather than brute force.

Oh, I didn't want to say, that Desperados is better than Commandos2. What I meant was, that Desperados is better than Robin Hood (RH didn't improve anything!!!) And Commandos2 is definitely the best of all! I'm now playing the 9th map/level (the bonus levels not counted).

But I'm playing it the other way... (I'm stockpiling the enemies - evil me...)

Next time I play it, I'll try it the way, the designers intended that it's played.

Unless you are cheating (I am NOT accusing you), this game is extremely hard if you play it like Command And Conquer.

No problem Cloudy. In case if you were wondering, Commando 2 is better than its predecessor. IMO of course.
