This movie looks pretty cool, but it was the website that really grabbed my attention. There is a flash house that you can explore and while exploring it you can see what rooms other people in the site are exploring.

I don't know anything about the upcoming version with Jennifer Connoly, but I do know that the Japanese version is scary as hell. Go see it!

Why do all the scary movies these days seem to come from Japan? Can't anyone in Hollywood come up with anything scary other than on-the-carpet interviews about who's wearing what?
The Japanese version is already available to rent from Blockbuster, so if I really want to see it I'm certainly not going to the theatre.

The Japanese original is pretty good, but all these Japanese horror movies are starting to get boring. They all follow a similar theme and have similar special effects.

The Japanese movies are scary because of the excess use of scary children. The tiny people I tell you!

I rarely find demonized children creepy. More amusing like that little cat boy in The Grudge.

Well, I saw the Grudge a few days ago - in a darkened room - and I had to walk home afterwards in the middle of the night. While it wasn't as bad as Dark Water (where I kept seeing little Japanese girls in yellow raincoats holding red bags), it wasn't fun, I can promise you that!
The Grudge wasn't an overly good movie, but it was scary at some points. And gross too. Remember what happened to Yoko?

Just remember to switch on the lights in your room before you enter it
