First let me say I thoroughly enjoyed your writing.

I went through a 7 pages of tips and found nothing about the location of the glowstones.

Also I understand that you need to put a glowstone in the slot when you come back from the Steel Trap Room. But without having 2 how is it done? I saw someone saying something about using the chests somehow, but I guess I'm just to dense to understand how this is done.

It would be a shame to have gone this far and not be able to finish.

Here's the location of all 3 glowstones. Thanks to Sazerac for ever posting them

Glowstones:
1. The first is given to you by Sarelia.
2. The second in in the chest in the room with fallen pillars and a chest on a ledge above the entrance. The room is in the area before the carousel.
3. The third is in the chest in the room with 3 sharks and short tunnels at its sides. The room is in the area behind the north exit from the carousel.

And if this information isn´t in the best tip thread, why not add it there? *hint*

As I mentioned in the other thread on the subject of GLOWSTONES - it is possible to have all three NOT be there. This happened to me in my very first game of W&W and was the inspiration for teaching myself to hack items in the game.

It was learned later that often restarting Collasium could solve this rare bug but I didn't know that at the time so hacked my way through instead.

Makron - hacking the Glowstones is not difficult if you want to give it a try. You just need to have in your inventory some junky item that isn't of great importance. I can bump the thread on hacking or you can search it out.

The other alternative is to have me hack the Glowstones. I can do this but I would need you to split your zipped saved game into smaller files using WinSPLIT. I can get you the link for that program.

I got a better way for you Wyv. I hope you see this. Instead of using a 3rd party splitter, you can use winzip to split the files. No need to downolad another program.

1) Zip the file
2) Actions --> Split. Select a reasonable size. Email.
3) Then to unzip, simply unzip the first file and winzip will automatically continue with the next archive(s). (I think you have to save them in the same directory)

Thanks for your comments, Makron. And I deeply apologize about the best tips thread -- it's actually been months since I've been in there, and I was sure we had already put the location of the glowstones in there. I'll be more diligent about being accurate next time

And if Radek doesn't get it in there first, I'll add the locations to the best tips thread.

In brief, you do need at least two glowstones to get through Collaseum. You just can't make it with one.
