Aimlessly wandering and used the lift, then fell (jumped, that is!) off a bridge in an attempt to look over the edge. Found my way back to the lift, but it was still at the top. Is there a way to bring the lift back to the ground level or some alternate path to see whats at the other end of the bridge I fell (jumped) from? Please help!

To bring the lift down at hephaestos area click on the rope again. Im guessing this is not the answer your looking for but my memory of that mazelike dungeon is not the best im afraid. and you have to use the lift to complete this dungeon and get to area 3.

If you really can't get the lift down again; you might try casting Vanish on your party repeatedly. Since the direction is random, it might take a while, but with any luck you can end up at the top. (I'm not sure this will work since the floors are fairly far apart, but you could try.)
I can't think of any alternative route to obtain the Mavin.

Hey Thanks! I guess my impatience prevented me from just clicking once on the rope... Anyways, thanks again!
