I just thought I would let you know that I found the trident yesterday evening.
Oh and by the way I absolutely agree with you on the subject of stoning. I did not remember that the trident was a stoning weapon so I sold it first chance I got.

Sorry folks but I have to disagree on this one.
Petrification is quite useful, as it can take a foe out of the equation, well, pretty much forever. My tactic is to petrify (or stone) and then sit back and cast repetitive flamedrops and burning hazes. Works like a charm. So i hope i've been able to convert somebody to using petrification and stoning weapons.

moiraine sedai, it only depends how long have you played the game.
I mean that in early parts of the game it would be usefull if you can example stone Scabban's Evil. Now you could kill them one by one, just cast Stone to Flesh to get 'em back to alive.... As you know, you don't have Stone to Flesh spell at that point of game and killing creatures when you have that spell, is easier by other spells and weapons.... Don't see any use for that, Oakenmir cast those allies if you attack him, but I havn't been able to stone those nasty Oakenmir's servants. And that was only moment I really would want to stone someone. Much better is Wizards Blade, 'cause it turns creatures to sleep. You can 'wake' them up, just hit 'em again... If you have powerfull wizard or mighty warrior using sleep weapon, you can easily get rid of hard enemies for awile and focus on others. If I haven't embarrassed my self enough, I would continue, but I fear moderators would construe it spamming...
