This happens to me quite often. I get totally immersed in a game and after building up my party to the point that they are fairly unbeatable, I get bored with the game. Usually I just delete the whole thing and start something new, but I like this game so much, I would like to come back to it in a year or so where I left off. I assume I need to save my "Saves" file. Should I be keeping anything else as well?

If you run a patched version be sure to hang on to your patches. Perhaps zip them all up with the saves folder for future reference. You never know whether or not it will be easy to get the patches again in time.

No, I never did get around to patching the game. BTW, I really like your website! I am currently playing MM7 as well as Wizardry 8 and your site has been a great help to me (I especially like the maps). Thanks for all your hard work!
