I at the end of the game where I suppose to have a final showdown with Cet himself.. .. but I can't seem to hurt him at all! Attacking him with weapon will actually produce the "king king" sound... equiping the Mavin sword and the Staff of Doom doesn't do any good... I can't "use" or "give" the mavin to that flying head too. And the Best part is, I'm now stucked in the lord's tomb as the door which I have opened up using the champion keys is now CLOSED..........
Could this be some kinda bug? |

Congratulations on getting this far. What a bummer to have a problem so close to the end.
I suspect you might have done this final bit in an order not intended by the designers. If Cet's head is still flying, then that is not the final showdown. I think you might have unlocked his lair before he's ready for you. Like any good baddie, he wants to *play* with you first; he forces one of your allies against you. You might try restoring a save game from before you unlocked his lair and having another go at the portal. Hope you've got one! Did you "power up" the Mavin and Staff with the Black Fire found near the Lich?

Welcome to the board, tomaz!!!!
Lots of players miss Anephas telling them that they have to charge the mavin (and the staff) in the black fire to be able to hurt Cet. Hope you have won the game by now!!! Wyv |

Well Anephas says it, and G'ezzerad Ra also says - Black Fire needed to harm immortals - has been a common mistake from the posts I have seen - there have been a few caught out at the final battle .

tomaz - I totally missed the bit about powering up the weapons with the black fire the first time I played - wasn't the first reason I went looking for and found this board, but was certainly one of the reasons I came back!
