Whatever happend to the patch they were supposed to release?

What ever happend to the patch they said they were working on?

Its been a long long time now.....Im guessing there will be no W&W patch besides the original one.

;_; I've had this game since it came out just about, and still havent even gotten half way through ;_;

I dont even have the game installed now since I upgraded to win2k 3 months ago.
I was thinking of reinstalling it (only reason now is a lack of hard drive space....damn myst3 took it all)

Considering that ---

The HP website hasn't been updated since Jan.
The WW programmers are now scattered elsewhere ..( as it mentioned in some other post )

The chances of a further patch should probably now be rated as absolute zero.

Welcome to the board, u_u!!!

I've bumped up a thread which contains some email to and from D.W. Bradley. While it is doubtful that there will be any additional patches in the near future there still remains the possibility that additional "tools" will be made available to players.

Many of the technical difficulties with installing and playing W&W can be solved. Check out Saz's techie help desk thread, you may find solutions there for the difficulties you experienced before and for those that you might experience trying to run under Win2K, You'll probably have to finish and uninstall Myst3 first!
