Granamere, I filled out the persistent thing the way you have it described above. Just like on Ziroc's example on that other thread, the page has a "Private" IP address defaulted on there that cannot be changed, and all it allows me to do is enter in the last two digits. That address is the same one that is listed as the DHCP address and is labeled as this terminal's IP. However, on the link you gave me that lets a person track his "hops" to a URL...the page listed my WAN address...not the local LAN. Why do I have so many IP addresses? Obviously, I cannot change the IP on the setup thingy where you told me to enter in all that info...so is there any reason for me to be concerned further?

in WAN, I have:

WAN IP address:

Subnet mask:

Default gateway:

Primary Domain Name System (DNS):

Secondary DNS:

In LAN I have:

Local IP address:

Subnet mask:

In DHCP Client List, I have:

IP address

Host name

MAC address

Wan is what you give to people who want to connect to the game sever you are running. You need to do an ipconfig on the computer hosting the NWN server. Off that you should put that on the LAN IP address. This should not be 192.168.0.1 or 10.1.0.1 or anything that ends in ".1". It is fine that you can only input the last field. That makes it easier for people who have not does this before and keeps you from typing in one of the nymbers wrong.

You have my # in your PM.

Edit: I just now sent another message detailing some more stuff.

If you have MSN, we can do it that way as well.

Do you mean through msn messenger? I can setup an account. Chat through typing or voice? Sorry voice is so much easier.
