When I select directx7 in the setup movement is very jerky. Movement is fine with directx6, but the animation is not as nice. Anyone else experience this problem and/or know how to fix it? I just upgraded my computer, my previous one did not have this problem. I now have a pentium 4 1.8GHz, with 512MB RDRAM, and the Intel motherboard D850MVL which has built in sound and ethernet. My video card is ATI All In Wonder Radeon. I am also running Windows XP now instead of Windows ME. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Wife has almost the same set up. Worked wonders till she updated to DirectX8.1a - then it became jerky. Nothing, I found, you can do, but put it down to DirectX6.
