Meg, LOTR?

I thought about doing that myself

Heres how i would do it, i think:

Human Ranger
Dwarwen berserker
Elven (some sort of a fighter, perhaps the ranger archer)
Human (either mage/cleric, mage or sorcerer)

Nope... Mines much triter and cornier than LOTR. Keep guessing. Anyway, if that's your LOTR party, where are the halflings?

For LOTR I would say...

Halfling Thief
Human Mage
Elven archer
Dwarf fighter
Human ranger
Halfling Bard

Diskworld would be a good one...
Human Paladin - Carrot
Human Barbarian - (need you ask?)
Human Mage - Rincewind
Human Druid - Granny Weatherwax
Human Bard - CMOT Dibbler
Bag of Holding - The luggage.

ok.. if it's not LOTR i have no idea

yeah, I also thought about the halflings. It would be a good way to add a thief in to the party. But the way I see it, frodo and sam really aren't a part of the band the whole time and i think it would be more fun to just go with Gimli, Legolas, Gandalf and Aragorn. Plus, I'm really not a big fan of frodo, too whiney(spelling?), I might aswell add aerie

i might actually try this, any idea's on stats, equipment and such?

I would think Gandalf might have some fighter levels in him as he wielded a sword pretty darn nicely.

-Longbows

Legolas, Elven Archer
Strength: 14
Dexterity: 18 or 19
Constitution: 14
Intelligence: 13
Wisdom: 14

Gimli, Dwarven Berserker

Gandalf, Human... Can't think what he could be. Mage? Cleric Mage? Sorcerer?
Strength: 13
Dexterity: 13
Constitution: 13
Intelligence: 17
Wisdom: 18
Charisma: 15

By the way, Meg, is it the party from the amazing film Dungeons & Dragons?

Discworld idea, now that is nice...

Other suggestions:

Vimes-Inquisitor, Human.
Human wizard-Ridcully.
Jackrum- female fighter.
Verence-Jester.
Ridcully's brother-priest of Helm (for the lack of blinf Io).
Teppic-Assassin.

Nope, not D&D film. You'll kick yourself when you do get it though... Incidently, I've actually seen that film (some of it anyway). By gad it was shite.

C'mon, Vimes isn't a paladin. I would have though Rincewind for the mage rather than Ridcully; Rincewind actually goes on aadventures wheras Ridcully is an academic.
