I just recently bought IWD and I have a few questions:
1. Is it possible to change the resolution in the game? 2. Is the game speed modyfiable? 3. How many chapters are there. There are just two CDs so I'm thinking it's not very many. 4. Are there some fun combinations of characters? 5. Which weapons should I specialize on, considering which magical weapons I can find. That's about it. Thanks for any help!

1: You need the expansion HoW for that. It looks much better. Awsome looking.
2:Yes, go into Icewind Dale Config and up the fps 3:6 4:Very much so. Make sure to add a druid , they get to be ALOT of fun. 5: Wish I could answer. Since I think HoW adds weapons I dont know what is with the reg IceWind Dale. But I have found very cool magical weapons of all kind. Great swords, large swords, axes, mace, hammers, bows, ect. |

quote: 4) i think some of the coolest combinations is making your guys multi- and/or dual-classed...the only drawback to that is it'll be hard for them to advance in levels at the beginning of the game (unless, like me, you give them a little boost from the beginning by using the CLUA console) 5)i haven't beaten the game yet, so i can't really tell you what magical weapons you find most overall. from what i've seen, there's a pretty good variety, so just go with what is suitable for each character class and you shouldn't be disappointed.
