Minor bug: special abilities lost

I was playing a game last ninght and fighting a Lich and a really wierd thing happened. I had a sword spider selecting and moved him around the corner to the Lich and the Lich cast Maze on my spider. Then I go to select one of my other characters and the only thing I can do is party formation, attack or talk. No, spells, can't change weapons without opening up the inventory, no special abilities. I killed the Lich in armed combat as he was out of spells, then I saved, went to another area, then a temple. Still my bottom bar was like that then I talked to the healer and after healing my party the bar was back to normal. Has this happened to anyone else.

That is a new one I have never had that problem. Maybe some else has seen it though.

Wierd bug.........

Are you all patched up with the latest patches?
And what mods have you got installed? The Kelsey mod changed Imoen's name to "Bhaalspawn Powers" once, so it might be the Kelsey mod......

All patched, with no mods.

It was the Lich in the sewers. I am thinking that sending in sword spiders to use up the Lich's spells is a rare tactic as it was the only summons I had left. Plus haveing the spider selected at the same time Maze was cast would probaly make this occurance quite rare. I am thinking it was a combination of things that caused it because I have never had it happen before and it is my second time through. Although it was a wierd interface bug that was very annoying at the time, I am just glad it fixed itself.
