If your character SAYS "I had to drop your item on hte ground", or something similar, hit "i" IMEDIATELY- don`t move anywhere. What was dropped will be in list of "Ground Items".

NIshruu only drain items with charges.

You can max out your PC's stats if you use the Ring of Human Influence (Kalah) and the Girdle of Hill giant strength (Adventurer's mart). however, I didn't find any differences than without using this with some stats (which you don't use) lower.

NIshruu only drain items with charges. [/QUOTE]...Which is also a bug, as they're only supposed to drain the charges, not the entire items. I think Baldurdash has patches for it... Though I think the official BG2 patch took care of this problem as well.

According to the manual, they drain one charge per attack; destroying the item if only one charge is left... I`ve heard of a bug with that "wrapping" to ALOT of charges instead of destroying it, though

I think the item dissapearing has something to do with bag of holding
and gem bag.i think if you save with more than one bag (cheating) it gets rid of some of the items

Cannibal Monkey was right on the money with the Fear bit, although as I recall there's only one spell that can actually make you drop items, and that's Cloak of Fear.

(Hardly realistic, too: "Oh my God! I am under attack by horrendous forces I could never defeat, who want to rip me open and eat my spleen! I think I'll take off my armor and fling it to the ground!")

The Bag of Holding bug occurs when the character has one Bag, and then imports in another Bag with the exact same code. The same code means, essentially, the same Bag, which means each one will mirror the other. Take an item out of one Bag, it's vanished from the other as well. There's also a bug where the first few items in the Bag cannot be changed: Take them out, sell them, open up the Bag again, they're back. That one I don't understand.

I had Aerie carrying all my pieces for magical weapons, gesen shaft, wave blade, etc. and a Nishiru wiped them all out (I HATE that).
So be wary of Nishirus!!

Someone also wiped out my spider ring in the twisted rune..but the battle was so tough that I ate the loss. Always check inventory after a major battle with mages.

Also make sure your main char never has a full inventory, when talking with people and they give you an item, you will automatically drop an item on the ground (Uh..yeah, I really want to throw away a 3+ bow for a freakin' figurine or something..).
