Eh? I answer this one hours ago. Who ate my post?

Sigh.

Anyhow , the host needs to start a multiplayer game in modem mode and give it the COM port the modem is attached to. You can find which COM port to use in the windows control panel.

The other player needs to join a multiplayer game in modem mode, give it the COM port for his modem, and then give it the phone number of the other player.

Assuming both modems are fairly standard, that should be all you have to do. It would be easier to use an internet game though.

I got a question. What kind of charges do you get for modem to modem. Say I live within range that it's not long distance. Does that call just charge normal fee's that you would get for a normal call to that person? I'm just wondering thanks.

Normal call charges. If its the same area code, it will be local charges, if its the same national code, long distance and if you are dialing international, then international charges will apply.
