I had a female fighter/mage/cleric the first time and I though I would cover all my bases but never got beyond level 13. i had Jaheria, Minsc,Korgan,Edwin and Imoen and this time i want to be a guy 9to slle with the drow0 and I want Aerie so that i will encourage a romance, which didn't happen last game. i also want Viconia..heard she was good. So the way i see it..Minsc,Vic,Aerie and Jaharia...but i don't what class i should go for I want suggestions...Cause i don't want to waste time and make a mistake!

If you're not making your protagonist a spellcaster, I'd grab Edwin as well. Try a chaotic neutral human berserker. You can also dual him to a mage at a later stage, if you feel like it.

Since you have no thief, try a swashbuckler and dual to mage later at lvl 11, so that you can achieve the highest mage level.
