Hi-
I just finished the Midlands, and have decided to start an additional game now that I've learned so many tricks from this forum (thanks to all for my 'education'!) I'll be taking lots of cash with me, and want to try a 3 or 4 member party. I'm thinking of having each party member join all guilds to learn the following: 1)Male human Warrior(sword and forge)->barbarian(traps and forge)->samuri (sun, sword, second weapon) -> assassin 2)Female Elf Priest (spirit, enchant, bless) -> Ranger(fletchery, vine) ->Paladin (sword, more enchant and bless)->Samuri (sword, sun, second weapon) ->Valkyrie (just to create one to transfer to a future game restart) 3)Male Elf Wizard (stone, a few choice sun spells, identify)->bard (moon,)->Warlock (fiend)->possibly paladin for sword skills->Zenmaster (again, for future gaming). Please critique my plan--am I making full use of the guild training for each character?. Also, since I'm new to the enchanting and blessing game, is it worth it? I know it is expensive, and I plan on using it sparingly, but should I even waste the level ups on it? Also, should I consider adding a 4th member to reduce the skills each party member is responsilble for? Thanks in advance. ML |

For your human, have you considered ninja instead of samourai... it fits better with assassin anyway. The rest sounds good.

Dude, I think you need a thief, to get the chests open early. I would suggest a lizoid one too. They have the snakeskin trait that allows a low lvl thief to be resistant to poison fang traps.
I would also change my female elf priest to an Oophaz. I know elves get more experiance, but the Mana Seed trait allows the Oophaz to replenish there spell points alot quicker. As a personal preferance, make sure all of your character start out with at least 14 Int. And raise Int to 16 buy lvl 4. That way all PC's will get 4 skill picks until you switch classes(roles). A word of warning. I had a 5 character party, It was great until the Naga. That Snake whipped me out and I had to get a sixth character.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm still fine-tuning my character selection after noting your suggestions. Any more comments?
And by the way, I'm not a dude--I'm a chick LOL ML |
