Yeah thats what i ment about the cleric spells. He can use scrolls that clerics can but he gets no spells of his own.
What strikes me as strange is that a monk gets 3% magic resistance per level while a wizard slayer gets 1%. Anyway 3% per level at ohhh say level 17 is 51% magic resistance +about 20% from amulets (amulet of power...the ring of i forget it has 5% magic resistance though etc) and you get another 10% at the end means about 80% magic resistance = BUYA !!!!! furthermore the speed is great i think that at level 17 you get -5 weapon speed and you move very fast forget the actual number. Also your damage and ac get better as you go. You start of with 9 ac and it goes down 1 for every 2 levels meaning you have 1 ac at level 17 without ANY bracers, girdles etc . You damage is around 1-17 at level 17 i think and girdle bracers or crushing is +4 thaco +4 dmg. He also gets some theif abilities so i mean cmon this guy rocks. Also someone mentioned a monk can kill a dragon in 1 hit...hows that i wanna know! BTW Rikard...your sig ... limp bizkit right? |

Possible Spoiler??
Quivering palm Baby!! I spent at least 15 minutes designing a strategy and preparing protection spells. Snuck the monk in invisable, started spells had my stalker ready to try a back stab and Chuckled at myself for even trying the quivering palm, and let her rip....Backstab failed....Monk Hit......and Firkraag was dead before ANY ONE of my mages got a spell off. Now this is not guarnteed to work, he still gets to try to make a save etc or however it works, But I never thought it would work against SUCH a Major player in the game...tried it anyways and sure enough I sat there in dis belief as I said DAM^........... I have to admit though, I felt a little cheated at the battle winning so easily.....But I never looked back, only patted the shoulder of my man and moved on. |

Ok I have a question about dual calsssing a Kensai. I have near dual classed, so when I dual class, do I get my points thatI put into weapons back whenI get higher in my new class, or do I only use the points in my new one? And what is the best weapon style for the Kensai? I put 5 into two-handed swords and 1 into two-handed weapon style and dealing about 40damage a hit w/o Kia ability and about 50 w/ Kia.

You get to keep your old points once your new class exceeds the old class. As for weapons, for Kensai, I recommend Katana and long swords, fighting style be dual weild.

What's wrong with Rikard's signature?
I appreciate where you're coming from Fr Bronze, don't get me wrong, I just don't see what's wrong with his sig. Unless he's changed it already. |

Wizard slayers actually get 2% magic resist per level. Misdocumented. But then, their ability to cause spell casting failure doesn't seem to work.

Rikard must've changed his signature as he does every 12 hours
Just so we know what we're comparing - are we doing a PvP of kensai mage v monk or are we comparing their relative qualities as PCs? Also what levels are we talking about, and what buffs are each character on. You can't have a valid comparison otherwise. |
