Longtooths are random monsters, so in some games, you'll be swimming in them (or with them, WillowIX [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), and in some games, you'll wonder if they're extinct.

If you have high scout skill you can find a longtooth whilst travelling around doing your ather quests. Whenever you see 'a longtooth has been here' on your scripting bar go to shore & find it.
