Dissapointed I had a picture of an Englishman getting into the quirky Aussie leftist-capitalist-folksy-pop that is The Whitlams...

You sound like Louis Burdett...

As Davros is moaning about having to give his game of Morrowind up I'll give one more clue.
Look at Yorick's original post. It's quite short but there are some things there that are not absolutely necessary. Now ask yourself 'why did he do that?'. Then you need to use google then re-read the title of the thread then re-read the whole thread and it will all become crystal clear.

You know the Whitlams' Tim Freedman recently did a solo gig at 'the Fez' in New York City.

It was interesting for me to watch, with the context of watching another Aussie singer, who'd just flown into New York, sing in a city I'd been in for 18 months, and seeing some of my old 'perceptions' about New York in him. (or something like that.) Kind of indescribable really.

There were a lot of Aussies there.

However, I was never a Whitlams fan. In fact, I didn't like Tims music, singing/phrasing and songwriting at all. When I was in Sydney, I never would have gone out to see him. What was I doing in New York, surrounded by a plethora of brilliant music, stepping out to see a musician from my homeland that I didn't even like?

???

Who knows.

So are we sure it doesn't mean Yorick is crossdressing and Lanesra is coveting his garter?
