Ok it's great question day so here's another one.
Is there any point in raising Lock picking, Find traps and Detect illusion etc. past 100 ? Thanks. /dev |

If you want to maximise your potential, then yes; because the game incurs penalties on more difficult situations. In terms of practicality though, the only skill you really need to pump up above 100% is Pickpocketing.

ahh so that's why I sometimes fail to disarm a trap at 100% skill, I wasn't sure if it was misclicking from my side or some sort of penalty.
Thanks. /dev |

What would be the desired points in pick pockets....or in another word what is the limit

It is REALLY bad to take any skill past 255%, or perhaps 250. After you exceed the limit, the number actually becomes negative (to the computer's mind, anyway) and you fail every time.

Hmmm 255 limit. That really bytes. In fact it double-bytes.

Personally, I go for the following.
Pickpocketing: 200% Lockpicking, Detect/Disarm Traps, Move Silently, Hide in Shadows: 125% Set Traps: 100% Detect Illusions: Whatever |
