HI, I'm new to this . I've tried using my note pad to edit the "ini"

What did you type exactly. It could be that you forgot a capital or something ? And did you put it in the right spot in the ini file ?

I typed "icewind.ini" then under "game options" "CHEATERSDOPROSPER:
etc... so either i'm doing it wrong or ? I had to go into search to bring up the file. then when I clicked on it my note pad came up. Any idea's will be appreciated. thank you |

Instead of CHEATERSDOPROSPER: Type in GETYOURCHEATON:
Just make sure that you have to put the rest in brackets, quotations etc. In other words a cheat (say for boots of speed) should look like this...... GETYOURCHEATON:CreateItem("BOOT01"); The only time you do not put the quotation marks is when you are trying to get money. In that case you just put the tags and semi colon. Here's an example..... GETYOURCHEATON:AddGold(5000); Or GETYOURCHEATON:AddGold(50,000); I hope that helps! |
