I have a few questions:
1. Is Adamantite steel and the Adamantine stuff used in drow armor the same thing? 2. If it is, would an Adamantite Golem turn to dust if it entered sunlight 3. If its not and when you kill one, couldn't you grab a bunch of Adamantite off the dead golem, give it to that one dwarf and make very good armor or weapons? 4. Couldn't you wrap Drow Weapons and Armor in bark or in some other metal so no light can get through?

1. my guess is yes
2. no drow equipment loses it's magic because of the method they use to imbue it, which is completely different from a golem also they can't go through doors so it's kinda a useless point anyway 3.I don't know about this, proably the destruction of the golem causes a loss of the magic, which degrades the metal, just a guess though 4. they lose their magic anyway after a few weeks unless you make a trips back to the underdark

The power of drow weapons isnt just what there made of, but also how they are made, they are inpowered with strong magic, which is what makes them so effective. They need to be in the underdark in order to power their magic, which is why they slowly decay to uselessness if away for to long.
I believe the whole thing is done on purpose by the drow, but I am not sure. |

they understand that their weapons are useless on the surface but your avg drow doesn't really go to the surface. without such powerful weapons the drow would be overun in the underdark(very difficult baddies, mind flayers, aboleths, ect) the method they use makes +5 weapons as common as +1 weapons on the surface, if not moreso

Many people think, that Adamantine golems take damage like (Enchantment-2) or someting like that, but they have 90% resitance to all weapon types.

Well, if there was a big enough doorway for an Adamantite golem, would it turn to dust if breached by sunlight?

I don't think so. I've seen Adamantite Golems outdoors in Suldanesselar, and in the daytime, too!

Well then wouldn't it be possible to strip an Adamantite Golem of some metal to make armor or weapons?
