For that goto Control Panel and dig around. Should be there somewhere... Use logic .

Anyways, I got a Ge Force 2. I really really hope it will be able to take NWN. The graphics on the screens look pretty impressive and hungry. They'll need some good support.

You gents think a GF2 will take it?

hmmm i definatly need new 3D card
1.2 ghz (good enough)
256 RAM (will do hopefully)
TNT2 Ultra (piece of shit)
60 GB (i think i get enough space for it)
Want a GeForce 2 with 64MB
not that MX with 32, as much as TNT2 Ultra i think.
But even better GeForce 3 but price is too damn steep now.

If this is a penis thing then how where do I fit in?

1700 XP - 256megDDR and Geforce3 (XP Pro/2000)
1200 Athlon - 1gig and Geforce2 MX400 (ME/2000)
1000 P3 - 256meg and TNT2 (2000 Advanced Server)
450 P3 - 512meg Voodoo 3 3500 (2000 Advanced Server)
800 P3 Laptop - 256meg ATI Mobilon (NT/2000 Pro)

Should I change my name to Hydra? Do I need underwear with extra room in the front? (or maybe the back for those of you who think I'm full of shnitzel)

I'd tend to think that if the game really comes out in the next month or two it'll require in the vicinity of 800mhz and a GF2 class video card to do it justice... hopefully they can take advantage of the hotter systems out there too. My 1700 box madonions at better than twice the 1200 and games that use the power really do look incredible(Alice, Giants, MS Flight Sim 2002, Motocross Madness 2 are some that I've run at 1280x1024 with FSAA... amazing quality).

I'm REALLY looking forward to this game, and have been since I saw the first screenshots and read about their multiplayer plans. I just hope it lives up to the buzz.

Nah... I just seem to collect the things... and I like to play multiplayer games (Diablo II lately, and first person shooters). I run SCSI drives on my PDC, makes a big difference on a multiple access system (although I don't have a raid array... just plain old UW-SCSI). On the other boxes it's IDE for cost savings... 250 or so gigs worth all told.

I also have a multiprocessor system... dual Pentium Pro box that's a few years old. I bought it for "coolness" factor, it ran pretty good... it's still running but I don't have it with me (I'm living in Irvine CA for a year, but that system's at home in NY with a couple old Pentium boxes, a 286 machine and an VAX PDP-11/73... collecting dust)

I guess I'm just a computer pack-rat

ROTFL ... i know the drill

I have two other systems as well, a p3 800 and an ancient (?) P120 that I use for older games that only require directx 6 or less.

Ah, this remembers me of the old days. When I wanted to play Wing commander4 but only had 486DX2. It ran almost fine in the end, even though it was way below the minimum specs(Pentium60).

LOL... Wing Commander...

there is another bad movie! The game was pretty good tho. That and X-Wing were some decent space combat games.

Sometime I wonder why I bother keeping em around, but it's not like I could get any money for em so what the heck.

Lemme guess, it's an Intell.
Just buy an AMD processor, cheap and way better, at least that's MO
