Hmm.. very interesting thread! Nicknames... well my mailing list of cat devotees refers to me as "Amfur".. a typo that stuck.
 My bf calls me Angeleyes.. but not sure that's an 'unusual' nick, really. And the rl nicks our geniemod has for me.. I'll keep to myself, thankyouverymuch!  oh.. Cloudy is starting to stick as a real life nick for me too! OK, OK, for all the English people here AND the Dutch.. I will explain the nickname.
We went to Rome on a studytrip, and we were staying at a hotel. I was playing cards with a couple of friends, and after five games, I had enough for a while so I went to my room. I took a shower, read a book, and when I came back they did not believe I had done that.. so.. that explains why... I could laugh about it afterwards, I was even planning to buy myself a footballshirt, with the name Teddy on the back of it. I only had one nickname that stuck. And it REALLY stuck. I was called stoner in school for 4 years and no one actually called me Adam
