How do you play a druid?
More specifically, how Do you maintain rep? I mean, if you're a neutral character, but you're going around screwing up the plans of the god of murder or vampires or something (I don't know who's the baddie, I've yet to pass chapter 2 so don't spoil it! ), how do you maintain a neutral rep. And I mean this from a roleplaying perspective, I'm not going to rob a shop just to drop my rep a bit. Thanks. |

"I'm sorry man, but I just saved a town from evil dragons and nasty vampires, so I need to something bad to maintain the balance."
*POW!* "Did that hurt? Damn... people still think I am heroic, I must maintain neutrality. You still okay? Yah? Good." *POW!* "Finally, ahhhh... I am at one with harmony and balance. You know, since I am off to rescue some lady from a few baddies, I might as well stock up on a few bad rep points." *POW!* "No hard feelings!" -------- Somehow I feel from a role-playing perspective... that scenerio seems screwy. ------------------ If not a Sorcerer casting total oblivion, then a Paladin meting out justice. 99% of the time I find it impossible to roleplay a true neutral adventurer. They are like a contridiction in terms. Taking an active role in 1 side or the other often defeats the purpose of neutrality.
That said for balance there needs to be good and evil. Who is to say there is not too much evil and a little good needs to be done to ofset it. That keeps the balance. |

Dont do any side quests
Weaker side: thieves - anybody seen a vampire killed by thieves? (normal swords, plain arrows). Save Imoen, get out of Underdark ASAP and go directly to kill Irenicus! |
