When my local newspapers have nothing interesting/useful to fill the page, they put a headline such as "There is a great fog in London again!", and it is followed with a completely gray "picture" which represents "fog" .
(there is no noteworthy fog in London, of course)

well, at least that is better than my town's paper. over here we have the headlines like " [insert people name ]'s cat dramatic rescue from tree " and it usually get full front and second page covery. It get that long because they include the cat history, the interview with the fireman who rescue the cat, the interview with the cat;s owner, neighbour's feeling about the cat or even passerby feeling towards the incident. sheshhh!!

I always get things like ''Guy got shot 3 time's with pen-gun in local discotheek'' and ''Family murderd due to rivalry in Playstation II games'' eeehhh okay .

I live in a semi-major city called Dordrecht (near Rotterdam), in Holland.

I know what it is to live in a small crappy village (I know how it is to live in a farm with the nearest neighbours 3 kms away... nearest town 24 km, South of France... somewhere (middle of nowwhere actually ))

I can attend both (actually 3) side's
- Small village (population count got stuck when it hit 150)
- Farm... in the real ''middle of nowhere''
- Major city, with a supermarket at every corner (includig a crack ho)

Light Bulb

When I first moved to a small town, the headline was "Window Broken With Brick."

Where I live, it is so boring, that people don't bother with newspapers.
Beat that for boring.
I bet noones ever heard of it.

Actually, I've heard of Rochester-my mates and I came close to accidently trashing your cathedral on a school trip
