Stopping by on my way to town so a nice double shot 'spresso'll go down nice and smooth

Two of my friends from work are leaving so I'm a bit down atm but no doubt the newbs'll turn out ok. Have a leaving party for Yasna tomorrow but it's the last day that my dad's visiting from New Plymouth and he wants to take us out for dinner so I have a bit of a dilemma - do the fam thing or hang with mates??? I could go out for dinner and catch up later on in town but I dunno

Morning, all. It's 25 degrees, here. (About -3 Celsius) But, it is very sunny and the wind has died down, so it's bearable. Supposed to warm up from now on.

Argh, my co-worker didn't come in for the first 2.5 hrs of the workday and left me to run around doing some things she should have done yesterday and most likely would have done this morning....so I'm frazzled and it's not even 11am here! Still have a LOT of work to do and a meeting later today, so have fun and I'll check in later...maybe from here before I go but definitely from home.

Monday, January 20th is Martin Luther King Day in the U.S.A., honoring the civil rights pioneer. It is a second tier holiday, meaning the Government, banks, and schools are closed, but little else. Then, there are the third tier holidays, where nothing is closed, like Valentine's Day.
