MAJOR glitch SPOILERS

This probably belongs on the ToB forum but i posted it on this one as it relates a bit to suldanessar

having gone through SoA with my 4 man created party, I was looking forward to getting another pair of boots of speed of the bhaalspawn on the begining of ToB so i rushed through the tests and fought with Joneleth. I whooped his ass good. anyway when i woke up in suldanessar i was told about the festival in my honour so i thought hurry up, ToB awaits. The cermony was completed, watched the cool movie and then arrived in ToB. Weeeeelllllll, 2 f my characters did.the other 2, my cleric of helm and me, amonk, dint. we were still in Suldanessar! WTF!!!

What the hell happened?? Has this happened before?

BTW, i can only log on every hour so ill reply an hour from when this is sent.

This happened to me too. Half my party actually remained where Mr. I fell. The others spawned in ToB as normal. Downloading a patch fixed the problem for me.

You don't need a patch, it just takes a couple of seconds until the rest of your characters are teleprted there.

3 things:

1: the internet is down at my house so i have to use the internet at college. i cant download anything off the internet such as patches mods and pics

2: i did wait and nothing happened, i could control my characters, talk to people, hell, i went through the ritual a couple of times and the characters were still in suldanessar.

3: i tried the battle against the bhaalspawn, which i won, and as soon as i got to to plane thing, my characters who were in suldanessar died, which ment i had to load and try again but the same thing happened.

First, enable the debug console.
Now, select the NPCs in Suldanessellar and write this line:
CLUAConsole:MoveToArea(AR4000). Press enter.

Gangrell, I'm positive that if the problem is there, you won't be able to fix it without patching. Waiting 3 seconds, or 30, or 300, makes no difference. You can switch between the characters in ToB and BG2 if you like, and have them walk around as well. But you can't get them to go to the same area together. Except, of course, by using the CLUAConsole option, but that's only a solution for a single game. Same thing will happen next time.
Of course, if you can't d/l files to your gaming computer, it may well be the only way to carry on playing.
