i've got a game, called Master of orion.....completely kicks arse....
i had to re-install it due to some, pathetic direct X glitch. i was pissed. it then stopped recognising my saves as being there (its got one of these crappy in built "these saves are there" files is my bet) so i got pissed, tried some stuff, and gave up for a few hours. started from the beggining. tried again by moving the new saves somewhere safe. it now doesn't register ANY of the saves. i'd have to start again!!

so i'm asking for one of 2 things
a) a way to somehow tell the damn game my saves exist
2) A WAY TO MAKE THE COMPUTER FEEEL Pain.........i want to make it SCREAM in agony for the hours of stuff its putting me through with this......

any help appriciated, and yes i've tried kicking it to no avail.

Try threatening the computer with taking the fan out. It might work.

The interesting thing is I didn't even mean it seriously, but if it really helped, then it is a method to remember for future problems.

ROFLMAO! You really think he meant that it seriously worked? LOL he was just saying that he randomly fixed it and was jokingly saying that threatening the computer worked.....you don't seriously think threatening the computer worked do you??

Computers have miniature creatures inside that communicate with each other while you're on the net. These creatures are cold-blooded, and need a nice temperature for living. If you threaten them to take out the fan, they will think you're gonna kill them, so they do their best to fix any problem in the PC. It's just basic conspiracy theory.

I don't know what you call them, but I think they're related to the mail-sorting machine in MIB II...
