Bards

Can you make an effective BARD party. I mean like making your own party (I know how you do it). Which BARD kits to use?

Blade = Replaces Fighter and Thief
Jester? Skald?

Would they do a strong party?

probably, if you buff them alot (but who would do your thief stuff?)

A bard party can be done, but isn't worth it, IMO. Bards usually enhance abilities of other classes. If you really want to put a bard to good use, make a multiplayer party with a skald, a barbarian, a paladin, a swashbuckler, a beserker, and a sorcerer. (If you have ToB, try using a Wild Mage instead. Their abilities can sometimes affect bard songs if the wild magic affects the bard.)

sure, theyll be effective. be prepared for ALOT of micro-managing, though...

There's some equipment created specifically for Bards, and I suggest you also pick up Haer'Dalis instead of making all 6 bards by yourself. I've never used a bard before, and I don't see much use too either.
